Fall term reopening update: All students, faculty, and staff activating or purchasing a membership to the Student Recreation Center will need to provide proof of clearance for on-campus activities. Please be ready to show clearance through your SOU Account (Banner), the Navigate app, or your SOU ID card.
Community members visiting the SRC to rent Outdoor Program gear will need to provide proof of vaccination to enter the SRC.
Face masks will be required in the Student Recreation Center for all members and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
Social distancing is no longer required for members and staff. Additionally, space capacities have gone back to pre-COVID levels, and full-contact sports and activities are allowed. Members will not have to present their Daily Self Health Check at the front desk before entering.
At this time, we are still not selling community memberships, dependent or spouse memberships, or guest passes. While we are working hard to get all our spaces and equipment back open, some areas may not be fully open yet.
Our goal at the SRC through this pandemic has always been to mitigate risk. We appreciate our members’ help in limiting the spread of COVID in our facility.
